I saw a few listings on craigslist, but i'm a little "iffy" on going through that site. any suggestions?|||Stay at the Tuscany casino/hotel all mini suites with kitchens. What I heard. Google them or call them and ask. About 1/2 mile from the Strip on Flamingo. They have full service casino, and some restaraunts and a gift shop.
edited in: a pool too!|||Frankly they are getting tougher to find. Several of the cities around Vegas have outlawed short term rentals in residential areas because the renters would party the whole time and disrupt the neighborhood. Also HOAs have banned short term rentals like that for the same reason. If you need a larger than standard hotel room you should check out timeshares in Vegas. They are renting their units like hotel rooms but are actually one, two and three bedroom apartments. You can get a real deal on them right now.
You can check out this site as they include timeshares in the hotel rentals and you will see what I mean.|||I looked for mine online and booked it through either that condo or website directly. I do not trust Craigslist because I live far away. When I get to Vegas, I want to make sure that I have a place to stay at a price I approved before hand. You don't want to end up and have an oops moment and have to scramble to find another place, at an elevated price. Plus, if you book through a website, or hotel directly, you're dealing with a business and you've got somewhere to refer to if anything goes wrong.
I've stayed at some of the suites hotels before like, Emerald Suites, and Homestead. I chose those places because basically what you get is a room that's like a small apartment. You get the kitchen, bath, pool, laundryroom and sometimes a gym. It's not as fancy as the strip hotels but it's comfortable way to travel I think. Having something like a fridge and microwave is great when traveling! I'm the kind of traveler who loves my leftovers and having chilled drinks and ice cream in my room. Also really helpful when you have kids too. If I could also add one more thing, due to the restrictions on luggage nowadays, I love having a laundry room around. I pack less because I love to shop and bring things home so when I go for a swim, I just quickly drop a load in. It's worked out great for me!
I found my suites on the same websites as the hotels. By the way, a lot of the suites are behind the strip. Also Budget Suites is located everywhere!|||I'd definitely check out Owner Direct Vacation Rentals. I've been using them for years, and I always find a great place to stay. Right now, they have more than 20 vacation rentals in Las Vegas http://www.ownerdirect.com/accommodation鈥?/a> so you're likely to find something that suits you.
Their customer service is the best I've found too, so you can always just give them a call if you have any questions, and you'll get answers right away.
Hope this helps!|||You cannot rent a house for a week, no less than thirty days by statute. And most that you find are NOT on Strip or areas you want to stay and definitely not walking distance to Strip.
Check with Trump Towers or MGM or Mandalay Bay.
Just off Strip is Budget Motels which rent day, week, month but I would not stay there and not walking distance to Strip.|||I'm based in the UK and the website I tend to use is Holiday Lettings and never had a problem renting out. Used it to find a place in New York last year! They've got a few in Las Vegas:

I've heard of similar websites for the US, like VRBO or Home Away, but have never used them.|||Las Vegas Nevada Vacation Rentals Home
