depending on your needs, the rules will be different. Here are some examples

http://www.ewarentals.com/ewa/res_info.s鈥?/a>|||we've had one for motorhome rentals does that count?|||sorry|||my friend rents his villa in orlando fl.is is very nice|||I don't have access to one, but we rented our first vacation home this year. The rental agency gave us a huge list of do's and don'ts but the owners had gotten a hard covered type notebook like they have at Border's, etc. They explained how they had come to buy the home and what the house and area meant to them and invited all "guests" to write down their feeling and experiences while there. That was really cool to read!

Some things in the folder we got were location of nearest beach access, take out phone numbers and menus, nearby cafes and resturaunts and menus, brochures for nearby attractions, local papers or info booklets they have at grocery stores. Many of these things, as well as check out times and cleaning instructions were on the refridgerator or a cork board hung in the kitchen.

Good luck!
