Spring break for us is the first full week of April and I would love to vacation in Florida, however my budget is tight. I'm looking for something clean, within a few miles of the beach. An efficiency, cabin, condo or small home that can sleep 3 (my husband, my 10 yr old, and myself... no wild teens!) would be perfect. My gf & I stayed here on Spring Break in 2004. Completely quiet--40 miles south of Panama City (i.e. NO crazies). Gulf-side beach is literally across the street. The breakfast's there were freakin' outstanding!! Hope the same woman is still managing it. I very HIGHLY recommend it!!|||The previous poster is on to a good spot for you - The Cape San Blas / St. Joe area is typically more affordable than Destin, Florida or Panama City proper, and of course, the latter, you may be running into busy spring break weeks, where rates are higher as well.
