Your best chance I think is to stay in a Love motel for the whole month. I was in Busan from the 12th of December through the 15th of January and a love-motel is about 35 dollars a night but if you say you'll stay for a month, they'll cut you a deal. Otherwise, check www.hostels.com and see about any guesthouses.|||You might wanna look for guest houses in Korea. They are relatively cheaper than apartments(and motels) . And also when you rent an apartment, you need some deposit money. The ideal place would be depending on what you're interested to see and do in Seoul. But I will try not to stay in gangnam or apkujeong. They're quite expensieve. But not to worry Seoul has an excellent transportation system so you can easily commute anywhere in the city.|||There are plenty of hostels. There are almost always English speakers at hostels. Aim for areas near Itaewon, Yongsan or Gangnam as they have the largest number of English speakers. www.hostelworld.com is a good resource.
