There are 5 people splitting a vacation rental with 3 bedrooms. What's the best way to split the cost? The people that are sharing bedrooms want to divide the total cost by 3. The person getting their own room wants to take the cost, divide the common areas by 5, and the bedrooms by 3 (which of course makes his cost lower). Ideas?|||Take a vote. Majority wins. Personally, I would break it down by bedroom, so it would be by 3. Seems the most fair. Besides,it's a vacation, it's supposed to be about relaxation and fun, not squabbling over a few bucks.
