Please suggest some place within 300 miles of Chicago where one can rent a vacation home/cottage(preferably not a big city) and where speedboat, jetski rentals are available. I used to live there and it is actually a nice place. West of Lake Geneva on Route 50 is another resort called Lake Lawn Lodge. You can do it there too. There is also the Wisconsin Dells about 4 hours out of Chicago. Just take I90 all the way there. You can also go straight north about 5 hours out of Chicago to Door County Wisconsin. There are websites for all these areas.|||Wisconsin Dells or Lake Geneva - both great places! Lake Geneva a bit more sophisticated and posh.
