You could go for free, some gave gifts or gas money, stay three days and on the last day, you had to listen to the spiel. Just remember to say you'd like to look at a few other places before you make up your mind. Lie about your income and if they have other places, they will send you an invite there too. The best one was in Bentonville Ark (home of Walmart) and after the three day stay with free gas money to get there, we just drove along the southern Missouri northern Arkansas border. That area is set up for tourists such as Eureka Springs and many others.|||There's one way - that's to do home exchanges. This works best if you also have a vacation rental somewhere that you can offer in exchange for places you like to travel to. We have a hawaii and costa rica vacation home and often list them for exchanges - the trick is to have something other people may want. If you don't have your own vacation home then you'll have to do simultaneous exchanges where the other owner occupies your home while you're in theirs. We've done that as well. As for the 'free' scams - forget 'em.
